May 14, 2007 marked the four hundred year anniversary of the colony of Jamestown, Virginia.
"Captain John Smith's Map of Virginia" published in Oxford, England in 1612 was the starting point.
USPS stamps and pictorial first-day-issue postmark commemorating the quadricentennial of America's oldest settlement grace the mat in this edition of 66.
A linen vinyl seals all maps and charts and non-yellowing lacquer coats all stamps, postmarks and mat boards.
All products are made in Astoria, Oregon...USA!
